We also use Google Search Console, a tool for monitoring our website's presence in Google search results and optimising its content. Search Console does not install cookies in your browser — it processes anonymised data about queries and clicks in search results on Google's side.
We run advertising activity on Facebook and Instagram, provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland.
As part of that activity we display contact forms (so-called instant forms) which you can complete without leaving the service. If you choose to complete one, you provide us with your name, e-mail address, telephone number and your answer regarding intended travel dates. Some of those fields may be pre-filled with data from your profile — you can change or delete them before sending, and completing the form is entirely voluntary.
We retrieve form data from the Meta advertising panel and use it solely to contact you and prepare a trip proposal. In respect of data collected through the Meta form, Meta and Lotus Tours & Travel act as independent controllers — processing on Meta's side is described in the Meta Privacy Policy.
You can manage how advertisements are displayed to you in the settings of your Facebook or Instagram account, under "Ad preferences".
As at the date this document was last updated, we do not use the Meta pixel or any other Meta tracking tools on this website. Should that change, we will update this Privacy Policy and ask for the appropriate consent in the cookie panel.
In connection with the use of Google tools (Analytics, Search Console), the Meta advertising platform and hosting infrastructure, your data may be transferred to third countries, including the United States. These entities provide an adequate level of data protection, among other things through participation in the Data Privacy Framework.
Data from correspondence and forms is retained for as long as is necessary to handle the enquiry and deliver the trip, and in business relationships until the limitation period for any claims expires (3–6 years). Data from contact forms displayed on Meta services is retrieved promptly into our own systems; in the Meta advertising panel it remains available for the period resulting from that platform's rules (as standard, up to 90 days). Cookie preferences are stored as standard for up to 12 months. Data in Google Analytics is deleted automatically after the standard retention period configured in that tool.
You have the right to: access your data and have it rectified; have it erased or restrict its processing; data portability; object to processing (including processing for direct marketing purposes); and withdraw consent to cookies at any time, by changing the settings in the cookie panel on the website or clearing cookies in your browser. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (PUODO) in Poland, or with the supervisory authority in your country of residence.
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including connection encryption (SSL), to protect the data processed against unauthorised access, loss or destruction.
